- The ladder is policy, not a workflow you build — ≤10% self-serve, Sales Manager to 20%, Regional Director to 35%, Finance to 50%. Change the thresholds; you don't wire the logic.
- Ordered and role-gated — step n cannot be decided while n−1 is pending, and a rep approving their own quote is refused by the API, not hidden in the UI.
- A ceiling that holds — past the policy maximum the quote cannot be finalized at all.
- Provable afterwards — every submit, approve, reject, and finalize is in a tenant-scoped audit log with actor and timestamp.

Can Glime use our Entra ID for sign-in?
SSO/SAML is an Enterprise-tier feature and the login flow already renders the SSO path; the identity-provider connection is the deployment step. See the security page for what is enforced today.
We have a Power Automate approval flow already. Why replace it?
Because it is a flow, and flows drift. The Glime ladder is server-side policy: it cannot be skipped by a client, a race, or a helpful admin who edits the flow on a Friday. Every decision lands in the audit log the same way.
